Frequently Asked Questions
- What are your seller terms?
Please read my complete seller terms here.
- How do I order a custom?
These days I am mostly doing limited, bulk drops of specific customs. I am not taking many one-off orders. Keep an eye on my IG or sign up for my email list to know when the next drop is.
- Do you provide the shoes?
This depends on the drop and will be clearly communicated in the drop info before you place your order.
- Will the paint wear off?
All shoes are made to be worn. Customs that are properly prepped should have no issues withstanding casual wear. I cut no corners in my process to ensure wearability and help all shoes hold up over time. That being said, customers should always keep in mind that customs are hand-painted shoes and need to be treated with care. Click here to watch a video where I discuss this and wear-test a pair of my customs.
- What is your fee?
The fee for the custom service will vary depending on the project. I will usually post prices for all customs at the time of drop.
- Do I need to pay a deposit?
I typically only require a deposit when I am providing the base shoe for your custom. Alternatively, if you are sending me your base shoes to work on, your shoes act as your deposit and no further payment is necessary until the project has been completed and final pictures have been sent to you.
- Do your prices ever change?
Yes, all prices are subject to change. If you are given a price quote but do not move forward with the project at that time, please know that the quoted price is not necessarily guaranteed once time has passed. To know what current pricing is, please contact me once you are ready to proceed with your project.
- What is the turnaround time?
On average most shoes take about 2-4 weeks to complete, but total turnaround time will depend on how many orders there are ahead of you. An estimated timeframe will be provided when your project details are confirmed. Please note that these are estimates only.
- Who pays for shipping?
Customers are responsible for shipping in both directions. When sending shoes to me, tracking must always be provided. I will always provide tracking when shipping shoes back to you. NOTE: Shoes must be DOUBLE BOXED (Nike shoe box + shipping box) when sent to me.
- Where are you located?
Oakland, California.
- Do you only work on Nikes?
No, I am open to working on most shoe brands. Reach out to confirm that I can work on your pair of shoes.
- Do you do aging?
Yes. Aging is always available as either a stand-alone service or added to any custom.
- Do you do restorations?
My passion is for creating original customs, so I rarely take on a restoration projects.
- Can you paint the soles?
Unfortunately, there is no way to effectively paint midsoles and outsoles without the paint cracking and wearing off over time, especially on Jordan 1s. I do not recommend anyone do it, and I do not offer this with my Jordan 1 customs. I may be willing to paint midsoles on other silhouettes (such as the AJ4), just get in touch for more info.
